Why does increasing HA in the joint help reduce pain?

Why does increasing HA in the joint help reduce pain?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a key component of synovial fluid and works like a form of “biological lubricant.” Studies show that:

  • HA helps improve the viscosity and elasticity of synovial fluid.

  • It reduces friction and supports smoother joint movement.

  • It may provide mild to moderate pain relief for patients with knee osteoarthritis.

Note: International sources generally consider HA to have mild-to-moderate effectiveness, and results vary from patient to patient.

Alsavin intra-articular injection gel uses highly purified Sodium Hyaluronate with a high molecular weight of approximately 3 million Daltons - a level considered optimal for achieving the viscosity and elasticity needed in the joint environment.

With its 3.0 MDa single-chain HA structure, the gel maintains stability and resists breakdown inside the joint, helping the joint move more smoothly.
